Hey there! Been ages, huh? Lol, but something came to mind talking to one of my friends. She was telling me how much she wanted to be normal and as wondering I thought she was weird and then it hit me. Why was everyone trying to be ‘normal’ and what the hell IS ‘normal’ anyway? And hey, I feel if your acting like everybody else, doesn’t that make you totally boring?
So then it hit me that being cool is all about understanding how unique you are and emphasizing on that, while also understanding that everyone else is unique in they’re own way and respecting that. It’s about realizing that everyone has feelings like yours though and if they act a certain way to offend you, it’s about understanding that they do such things because they suffer from the same insecurities as you do. And being cool is totally about understanding that, and caring for those people, giving them the benefit of the doubt. Lets face it, being cool is another term for ‘being liked’ and how can you not like a person that doesn’t judge you and cares about what you think?
So hey, if being cool is being normal that what the hell has the world come to, right?
